500 on Friday
This is my 500th entry on this blog, a milestone of sorts despite taking seven years to get there. As you have known by now, and I’m sure you know because you’ve been here before and I hardly get new readers these days, this weblog lives on the magic of non–existent updates. The patience to wait for photos and stories that never come is one of your great traits, my dear reader.
I started writing this entry without an idea what to write about. A pathetic thought, I know, yet unintentionally fits my definition of blogging as it should be — spontaneous and straightforward.
I’ve always envisioned rebelpixel.com to be anything I want it to be at any given moment. It has been a photoblog for some time now, but it has also been my diary for whatever I fancy.
But let me tell you about my problem with blogging. Sometimes, it’s anticlimactic. It can get in the way of moments better left to unfold naturally, stories that should unravel as it spawns a life of its own.
Sadly, I have no clue what I’m getting at. Maybe I just feel like writing my mind out. Or my heart. I rarely get myself to write this way these days.
I guess that’s it for now, I gotta go. We have a mountain to climb.
