Wag Na Wag Mong Sasabihin

Everyone has been requesting for the chords to the most famous song on my lyrics weblog — Kitchie Nadal’s Wag Na Wag Mong Sasabihin — now with 145 comments as of writing! So I took the ultimate-guitar.com version and corrected it for everyone. I’m posting it below this entry, or you can download it as a plain text file. Happy guitar–playing! At wag na wag mong sasabihin…

Ilocos 2004: On film

Arvi, Ado & Joey viewing photos on the digicam.

  • Ado & Joey
  • Markku
  • Arvi
  • Ramil

The last of the photos from our recent trip to Ilocos, these ones taken with my dad’s old Nikon EM with a 50mm F/1.4 lens, mostly wide open on the portrait shots, resulting with wildly blurred, narrow depth–of–field type of shots. Just the way I want them. I’m particularly proud of this photograph that Joey took. ;)

Ilocos 2004: Day Two

As usual, the complete set of photographs can be seen at my photos section; direct links to the photo albums are provided below:

The rest of the photos from our first day faraway north of the Philippines:

Holding hands

Have you ever held hands with someone for an infinitesimal instance and feel the heaven’s beauty and greatness manifest itself in the same seemingly evanescent yet phenomenally undying moment? A second or two of physical tangency that briefly puts you in a state of delirium and makes you want to shout, “this is what I live for!”

The thesaurus and dictionary could only help conjure a collage of words that attempt to describe the emotional bliss I’m in, and still I feel breathless. Breathless, knowing that no amount of prose could explain or depict my state of mind (or heart?), no matter how hard I try. But at the same time afraid that I may never capture that fleeting moment ever again. Lastly and most of all, grateful for the wonderful things you’ve done to me without you doing a single thing. Don’t ask questions — just look into my eyes and stare at my soul. And this smile that wouldn’t give.

With a smile

It’s that time again. I have a river of ideas yearning to break free, but I’m too pre-occupied with daily matters that I wish I could just get them out of the way. I’m doing some markup optimizations on the side for an online magazine, and I’m shamefully delayed in gettings things done — sorry. I still do my rounds and *try* to read my favorite weblogs, but the only thing I’m trying to religiously follow is best summed up with these little blocks of information:

I’m dying to write about “the girl” and the way I feel right now, but that’s better said in a heartily–composed, well–written entry. At the right time. Yes, I’m now living life with a smile. Take it as literally as it is, and just as my friends often say these days, stop worrying too much about the future and just live in the moment.

Can We Just Stop And Talk A While

Fancy meeting you alone in the crowd
Couldn’t help but notice your smile
While everybody else around us is going about
Can we just stop and talk awhile?

I’ve been often told our world’s growing old
And that friends are harder to find
Do tell me more about yourself
We could share a thought or two
Now who would mind?

Maybe then we could go for a ride
Drive down to the countryside
Get away from the gray
And frenzied hurly-burly of the city life

Early yet to say what lies ahead
It’s the first day of the rest of our lives
Can we just stop and talk awhile
Get to know each other
Who are we to know?
Love could be waiting at the end
‘Round that bend and so
Let’s stop and talk awhile

Can we just stop and talk awhile
Get to know each other
Who are we to know?
Love could be waiting at the end
‘Round that bend and so
Let’s stop and talk awhile
