Firebird, the next Mozilla browser, has just released version 0.6.1. It’s sibling Thunderbird, the standalone mail client, has also released milestone 0.1. More details at the Mozilla Foundation site.
If by now you still haven’t heard about Mozilla Firebird, you ought to give it a try. Version 0.6 was released a few weeks ago, with several useful enhancements. And be sure to get some nifty themes and extensions, make it behave just the way you want it to. (Tip: Tabbrowser Extensions, TabScroller, Style Selector)
I was just browsing through Mozilla Firebird’s project page when I saw that they finally have a win32 build for Firebird! Not sure if this is just a nightly or 0.6 (Glendale) itself, still trying to download it through dial-up.
