WordPress’s Pages in version 1.5 is a godsend feature. It rocks! I just wish the mod_rewrite rules it wrote were simpler. Go on, test this site. The upgrading ain’t done yet, we’re just beginning!

Pages rock indeed, I only wish they used a different table than the posts’s. And the mod_rewrite rules could indeed be much simpler, especially since most pages don’t need feeds.
Mathias, I think you’re right about using another table since there really isn’t a need to keep both posts and pages in one. Feels like a hack, looks like hack — probably a hack. Works well enough though. 😉 The projects section uses pages, and its main index uses a plugin I created for listing the sub–pages for a given page ID.
