Ganun? It really tastes good but reading your description got me thinking. So it’s not any healthier than chicharon?
I’d go so far to say that chicharon balat is healthier, but chicharon bulaklak definitely less healthy than hopia baboy. I stick to the hopia mongo, not just coz of the pork fat (which I like) but because the mongo stuff makes for better dessert.
Speaking of chicharon, I really enjoy fried chicken skin, kaso sobrang unhealthy din yata yun. Bakit ba ang sarap ng mga bawal?
Chicharon balat should be ok IF you make it at home. At least you’d know that most of the fat has been drained, but the stuff you get in some places, well…
