  1. now i remember!! i walked past Podium that night and was wondering who will perform. too bad, i didn’t know it was Mishka Adams. if i did, i would have been there than spending some time at Movieworld. argh!! i haven’t fully listened to her album, just heard some of her songs and i like it. 🙂

  2. I love Mishka. She suits my day. Did you know that the title of her album was relative to Billie Holiday’s “God Bless the Child”. Sweet.

  3. Raych, you should’ve watched for a while, good music.

Clair, enjoy the pics. Sige share lang ng share. 🙂

Trebs ikaw nasaan na pics mo? Hindi ka na nagpo-post ah.

Jolo, trivia yan ah, I didn’t know that. Her music’s quite good, very soothing, relaxing. By the way, what happened to your layout?

  4. @Markku – That’s actually from PULP magazine ;D, about sa site ko, I’m overhauling my mark-up. Medyo may mga mali ako in terms of semantics. I’m also supporting Microformats (now).

Good to hear from you 😀

  5. Oh, PULP. Haven’t read one for quite some time now. I’m quite intrigued regarding your view on semantics, I’d peek into your markup when you have it ready. 😉 And about microformats, I’m not too sold on it yet, though I haven’t really made the effort to understand it deeper.

  6. Well, we have diff. views for semantics. Some really don’t care about it, but the case is, Web 2.0 is coming and evolving. I’d probably post something about it when I’m done, but I’m not really a “especialist” for those things.

About microformats, it could also be a big deal or not, it depends. Kung open tayo sa pad-adopt then no probem. I’m just an advocate. lol. 😀

  7. some tips when shooting picture on music performers on-stage:
try putting the object between the camera and a stage light. the setup: camera->singer->stage light. pero kailangan, meron ding konting light na nakatutok sa object, pero konti lang, as if contour lang ng object ang gusto mong ipakita, na halos maging silhouette nalang sya pero may detail pa rin yung object. check out one of the last scenes of the tom hanks movie “the terminal” (the jazz bar scene) and focus on the sax player and its cinematography.
*the cinematographer by the way is janusz kaminsky, and i think he’s the bomb. they call hin “the master of lights.”
