I just got copies of Bamboo’s “Light Peace Love” and Hale’s debut release this weekend. Bamboo’s sophomore record is quite pleasing, though may alienate those expecting something resembling their first album “As The Music Plays.” Hale is surprisingly good. Complete reviews of both CDs available soon at your neighborhood sari-sari store.

i love the new bamboo CD! i was at the album launch and i don’t think a lot of their core fans enjoyed the new songs. but i personally enjoyed the songs imensely!
kuuukssssss……..pasign mo ko please!! please please please… 🙂
hmmmppp…naunhan pa ko nimo 🙁 isn’t it odd that i still don’t have a copy? haaaayyy. looked for it sa ayala yesterday, they don’t have a copy and i was in a hurry to hop to another bar…..
The songs are good, but those that bought and enjoyed the first album just for “Noypi” and “Masaya” wouldn’t have an easy time appreciating this, I think.
Hindi na ako nakapagpa-sign, umuwi na kami kasi medyo maulan na nung launching concert. They sang the new songs and the crowd wasn’t entirely enthusiastic until they sang “Hallelujah” and cuts from the old record.
Copies should be in Cebu this week, paabot lang sa. 😉
galing nung bagong album ng bamboo..thanks for the mp3’s! Will get my official one when I get home 🙂 I love it…my full review upcoming.
